Mains d’Œuvres passionately supports contemporary art by coordinating residencies for emerging artists and by programming exhibitions and events. The in-house studio creates a dynamic relationship with the exhibition space, and encourages artists to work and experiment with the other artistic disciplines located at Mains d’Œuvres (music, theater, and dance). We organize four wide-ranging exhibitions a year with no age or nationality borders, exhibiting new works by emerging artists and artists in residency, as well as works by recognized artists. The exhibitions create an environment of active reflection and communication via related events and the daily influx of visitors. In the spirit of a Deleuzian double-reading—sensual and intellectual, specialist and non-specialist—Mains d’Œuvres is an experimental art space open to everyone.
